Angela is not only concierge at the Dammuso, she is also a real talented cook with passion and fantasy. In the kitchen she's an artist!
in the mroning at breakfast you can taste her incredible fresh grape smoothies and the grape and fics jam she makes,really unique if you consider it all comes from the garden and farmers around the property. Tea,coffe, bread, croissants, eggs.
She uses mianly products of the island, from veggies to fish caught daily in the deep waters around Pantelleria, like the sword fish which she coooks with capers, cherry tomatoes and other herbs that grow locally.
Sauces for apetizers and pastas done with aubergine, dried tomatoes, garlic and her special ingredients.
King prawns and squids on the bbq for dinner and many other dishes are Angela's great passion .During high season ask her for sea urchin spaghetti, incredible.Last is her very special cous cous with the herbs she grows in the property. Just this is worth the trip!!
